• 6 days cycle touring on some of NZ’s best cycle trails, cut through an amazing variety of scenery and terrain.
• 5 nights’ accommodation at a selection of boutique B&B, lodge or cottages. 
• Pick-up and drop-off from your hotel in Queenstown and all transport on tour.
• Your choice of a new high tech e-bike or mountain bike. E-bikes are subject to availability.
• Earnslaw boat cruise and Roxburgh Gorge jet boat ride.
• Meals included:

2. Days 2-5: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
3. Day 6: Breakfast and lunch

• All meals are made from quality local produce. Lunches will include either picnics or cafés (weather permitting). We cater to vegetarians and vegans as well! 
• Our expert local tour guides provide insight and background to the areas you visit and show you how to use all bikes and equipment. 
• Your tour guide rides at the back of the group on the first day to provide any assistance required. For the rest of the tour, the guide provides vehicle support, setting up drink breaks or picnics at key points along the trail. 
• We provide regular drinks (tea, coffee and water) and snacks on the trails. This includes nuts, fruit and various sweets and candy. Nobody ever goes hungry!

Excluded

• You are responsible for purchasing your own drinks in restaurants or cafés. 

• Day 1 – Your journey begins with a boat cruise across Lake Wakatipu, with your tour guide and all bikes on board. We start riding along the lake edge then soon head into golden tussock-covered mountain landscapes. The area has a truly wild and remote feel, with very limited vehicle access, finishing at Mavora Lakes. From here it’s a short drive to Te Anau, the gateway to Fiordland National Park. 
• Day 2 – The lakes are at their most tranquil in the morning, when you ride a beautiful trail between the 2 giant lakes of Te Anau and Manapouri. After a picnic (and maybe a swim!?) we re-join the Around the Mountains in the afternoon and ride into Mossburn. 
• Day 3 – The trail winds downhill to Lumsden then heads north along the eastern edge of the Eyre Mountains. You can decide whether to ride every last kilometre, or just the best highlights. We spend the night in the serene village of Kingston, wedged between the mountains and the lake. 
• Day 4 – Today is a day of change and contrast. In the morning we cycle through lush green pasture to finish the Around the Mountains trail. Then we transport you to the mighty Clutha valley, NZ’s biggest river by volume. We spend the night at a lovely country lodge with a home cooked dinner. 
• Day 5 – Today we complete the Clutha Gold – a smooth trail following the aqua blue river, which terminates at the huge wall of the Roxburgh dam. Take a scenic walk overlooking the dam and surrounding valley before dinner.  
• Day 6 – Starting high above the dam, the trail zig-zags along the gorge walls, coming to an end at a small jetty, a long way from civilisation. The only way through the canyon is by jet boat! Back in the saddle, you ride on to finish at the base of the Clyde Dam  – one of New Zealand’s most impressive feats of engineering. After a celebratory lunch to round out the tour, we head back to Queenstown. 

• It’s your choice between a new high tech e-bike or mountain bike. The e-bikes make your journey easier and more comfortable but are subject to availability. Included in the tour price.  
• Pick-ups and drop-offs from alternate places can be arranged, upon request. 
• If you would like to come on a tour but the dates don’t quite work, please let us know – it may be possible to arrange for you to join a tour late or leave early. 
• Private itineraries can be arranged for groups. Please let us know your dates and requirements and let us do all the organising for you. Pricing will depend on availability of accommodation, time of season and the number of people in your group.
